353: 99% Invisible’s Roman Mars on the Hidden World of Everyday Design

My guest today is the host of one of the most successful podcasts on the planet. To say I was a little nervous to have him on is a major understatement.

I wanted him to walk away from our chat feeling as if I’d done my homework and had presented him and his work in the best possible light. I think I accomplished my goal.

His name is Roman Mars, and he’s the host of the 99% Invisible podcast.

With deeply researched entries and beautiful line drawings throughout, The 99% Invisible City will captivate devoted fans of the podcast and anyone curious about design, urban environments, and the unsung marvels of the world around them.
