I think you would likely agree with the idea that most of us are good people with good intentions. We make our decisions based on facts.
Thing is, there’s more at play than we realize. Our brains are naturally filtering, sorting and shortcutting to make sense of the information we receive every day. We’re constantly making bias decisions. That’s what humans do.
Only by bringing them to the surface can we address them. The good news is, using the skills in a new book co-authored by Pamela Fuller called The Leader’s Guide to Unconscious Bias, any leader can build a more inclusive, high-performing culture where everyone can contribute their best.
