Episode #011: Erik J. Fisher, author of Beyond the To-Do List Vol 1: Goals

Erik_J_FisherIf you’re anything like me, you know how important it is to not only set goals, but to actually make a habit of writing them down and tracking your progress. Otherwise, what’s the point, right?

Yet, despite what we know we should do, more often than not we end up falling off the wagon like a good-intentioned New Years resolution.

  1. Hey Jeff and Erik! What an insightful and honest interview, I think many people could identify with the challenges and questions you raise about goals and productivity. While I have always know about the power of a goal, I haven’t always taken the steps necessary to move that forward and breaking it down into the segments, and forcing the brain to go the extra mile to get real and specific was great advice. The book (and volumes 2 & 3) sound really interesting. Thought also the reflections on health was really brave, authentic and helpful for many to hear and be encouraged to follow the example.

Love the quality and the style of the show, really easy to listen to and take on board. BTW – your website is just amazing, clear and sharp and your show notes are just the tops!! Thanks Jeff. Are you going to NMX2014? I hope to be there this year as well. Thanks again for the content!

    • Thank you so much Peter for the kind words. I think Erik and his co-author Jim Woods have done a great job.

Regarding the site, I owe much of it to the Get Noticed theme from Michael Hyatt.

I’d love to attend NMX but as a new freelancer, having been let go in June, I’m having to watch the finances pretty closely.
